Thomas-
I actually compared many different VOIP providers before switching, and settled on Sunrocket for several reasons. They seemed to have the best service and consumer reviews for the price, and I really liked the fact that they included the adapter (which they refer to as a "gizmo") and even threw in two free 5.8 GHz cordless phones! They also have a $3 international service credit each month, which I expect to utilize, which brings the perceived cost down to approx $13 per month!

Hi there! Why only selecting between Vonage and Sunrocket? There are many other VOIP providers which offers better prices and better services. Both - Sunrocket and Vonage are quite expensive and I personally never will understand why so many users choose one of these both companies which such high prices ...
